Dubai Cares, founded in 2007 as part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, is a UAE philanthropic organisation working to improve access to quality education globally. Its “Adopt a School” initiative funds the construction and renovation of schools, book supplies, gender-specific latrines, teacher training and adult literacy programmes in countries including Nepal, Malawi and Senegal.
